Residential Treatment at Magnolia Belle

Residential treatment is the most comprehensive level of care outside of a medical facility. Women live on-site, follow a structured daily schedule, and engage in clinical programming designed to address the full scope of what brought them to treatment: the addiction, the underlying trauma, the mental health challenges, and the relational patterns that have made recovery difficult.

Every woman who enters our residential program is given her own private suite, a personal bedroom, private bathroom, living area, and closet that belongs entirely to her for the duration of her stay. In most residential treatment environments, private space is a luxury. At Magnolia Belle, it is standard. We made that decision deliberately, because a woman who has her own space to decompress, process, and breathe is a woman better positioned to do transformative therapeutic work.

The clinical program built around that environment is equally deliberate. Treatment here is individualized, evidence-based, and delivered by a consistent team who knows each client's history and is invested in her progress.

Is Residential Treatment Right for You?

Residential treatment is the appropriate level of care for women who need structured, full-time support to stabilize and begin the deeper work of recovery. It is often the right starting point for women who are stepping down from medical detox, returning to treatment after a previous attempt, or entering care for the first time with significant clinical complexity.

You may be a good fit for our residential program if you are navigating any of the following:

A substance use disorder involving alcohol, opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines, or other substances

A co-occurring mental health condition such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or bipolar disorder

A trauma history that has not been adequately addressed in previous treatment

A home or social environment that does not support early recovery

A pattern of short-term progress followed by relapse that suggests a more intensive level of care is needed

If you are unsure whether residential treatment is the right fit, our admissions team can help you think through it honestly, with no pressure and no obligation.

A Full Clinical Program, Built Around You

No two treatment plans at Magnolia Belle look the same. Every woman's plan is built from her clinical assessment and shaped throughout treatment by her progress, her needs, and her goals. The following are the core components of the residential program.

Individual Therapy

Regular one-on-one sessions with your primary therapist, who oversees your treatment plan and maintains continuity of care throughout your stay.

Group Therapy

Daily process groups and skills-based sessions facilitated by licensed clinicians. Peer connection built in a women-only environment is one of the most consistently cited drivers of lasting recovery.

Psychiatric Care

Psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management are provided through a dedicated medical team. Nurse Practitioner Torrie Creel, PHNP-BC, oversees day-to-day psychiatric care and medication management, supported by the medical directorship of Dr. Jose Artecona, M.D., a board-certified addictionologist and psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience in addiction medicine.

Trauma-Informed Treatment

Specialized therapeutic work for women with trauma histories, including EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, and somatic approaches delivered by trained trauma specialists.

Your Space

35 Private Suites. Not a Single Shared Room.

Most residential treatment programs house clients in shared rooms. Magnolia Belle does not. Every woman in our program has her own private suite, complete with a personal bedroom, private bathroom, living area, and closet.

Having personal space during the most vulnerable and demanding period of a woman's life matters clinically. It supports sleep, reduces anxiety, creates room for private reflection, and gives each woman a genuine sense of dignity and autonomy throughout her stay.

It is one of the things that makes Magnolia Belle different from the beginning of treatment to the last day.
