A Continuum of Care Designed Around You

Addiction rarely travels alone. For most women, substance use is connected to trauma, mental health challenges, relational stress, and a history that is specific to them. A treatment program that produces lasting results must account for this complexity.

At Magnolia Belle Women's Addiction Wellness, we built our programs around that reality. Every level of care we offer is designed for women specifically, delivered in a women-only environment, and structured to address the full scope of what each woman is navigating, not just the presenting substance use.

Our continuum begins with medically supervised detoxification and extends through residential treatment, continuing care, and family and intervention services. Each phase builds on the last, and each is informed by the same core clinical philosophy: that women heal most effectively when they feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported by people who know their story.

Medical Detox for Women

For many women, the first and most immediate barrier to recovery is the physical dependency their body has developed on a substance. Medical detox addresses that barrier safely, comfortably, and with continuous clinical oversight.

Our medically supervised detoxification program is staffed 24 hours a day by our licensed nursing team, with medical oversight provided by Nurse Practitioner Torrie Creel, PHNP-BC, a board certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. The program operates under the medical directorship of Dr. Jose Artecona, M.D., a board-certified addictionologist and psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience. Together they use evidence-based withdrawal management protocols to minimize discomfort and monitor each client's physical and psychiatric status throughout the process.

Residential Treatment

Our residential program is the clinical heart of Magnolia Belle. It is an immersive, full-time treatment experience in which women live on-site in their own private suites and engage in a structured daily schedule of individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric care, wellness programming, and life skills development.

The residential environment is women-only without exception. The clinical team, the peer community, the group work, and every therapeutic interaction take place in that context. The result is a level of psychological safety that allows women to do the kind of honest, sustained therapeutic work that produces lasting change.

Continuing Care

What happens in the weeks and months after residential treatment is one of the most clinically significant periods in a woman's recovery, and it is a period that is frequently under-supported.

Magnolia Belle's continuing care program is designed to bridge the transition from intensive residential treatment to independent life. Working with each client, our team develops a personalized aftercare plan that identifies the ongoing therapeutic support, community connections, relapse prevention strategies, and accountability structures she will need to sustain her progress.

Intervention Services

Magnolia Belle's intervention services are designed to help families take effective, compassionate action. Our team works with families to understand the clinical picture, prepare for the conversation, and facilitate a structured intervention that prioritizes the dignity and wellbeing of their loved one throughout the process.

We bring professional expertise to a situation that is emotionally charged and practically complex. Families who have worked with our intervention team consistently report that having guidance made the difference between an intervention that opened a door and one that would have closed it.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Programs

  • What types of programs does Magnolia Belle offer?

Magnolia Belle offers a full continuum of women-only addiction and mental health treatment, including medically supervised detoxification, residential inpatient treatment, continuing care and aftercare planning, and professional intervention services for families.

  • How long is treatment at Magnolia Belle?

Treatment length varies based on each woman's clinical needs and personal goals. Medical detox typically lasts several days. Residential treatment generally ranges from 30 to 90 days, with some women benefiting from extended stays. Our clinical team will provide an individualized recommendation based on your assessment, and that recommendation will be revisited throughout treatment as your progress evolves.

  • Does insurance cover treatment at Magnolia Belle?

Yes, most major insurance plans cover all or part of the cost of treatment at Magnolia Belle. We accept Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Anthem, UMR, and others. Our admissions team can verify your specific benefits at no cost and with no obligation. Private pay options are also available.

  • Do you treat mental health conditions alongside addiction?

Yes. The majority of women we treat are navigating both addiction and a co-occurring mental health condition such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or bipolar disorder. We treat both simultaneously within an integrated clinical plan. Addressing only one without the other is not consistent with current clinical standards or with what actually produces lasting recovery.

  • Is Magnolia Belle exclusively for women?

Yes, without exception. This is a foundational clinical decision, not a preference. Gender-specific treatment produces measurably better outcomes for women, and our entire program is built on that foundation.

  • What if my loved one is not ready to seek treatment?

Our intervention services are specifically designed to help. Contact our admissions team to discuss your situation and learn how our intervention specialists can support you in helping the woman you love take the first step.

  • Where is Magnolia Belle located?

We are located at 1907 South Dr, Natchitoches, Louisiana 71457. We serve women from across Louisiana and the nation, including Shreveport, Alexandria, Ruston, Baton Rouge, and beyond. Our admissions team can assist with travel coordination for women coming from outside the area.
